This season is packed with exciting new features and enhancements designed to make your experience better than ever. Read on for the full breakdown of what’s coming when Season 3 launches on Friday, 18th July at 10PM UTC.


Archaeologist:
This upcoming season, the Digsite Archaeologist is receiving a major overhaul when it comes to artifacts. There are now 76 unique artifacts to discover, each tied to specific locations and rarities that unlock as players level up their Archaeology skill. Instead of being scattered randomly, artifacts can be found in targeted areas, some buried in gravel or sand, others hidden near lava, water, or deep underground within the all-new Cursed Tomb. This revamped system introduces strategy and progression to artifact hunting.

Master Excavator:
To stay in line with the theme of our other skills, we’re introducing a brand new Archaeology Trophy! This exclusive golden trophy can only be earned by completing the Master Excavator Challenge, a daunting task that requires players to uncover every type of artifact across every possible location and substrate. Only the most dedicated and skilled archaeologists will rise to the occasion and claim this prestigious reward to display on their island.


Tomb Keys:
Scattered across the sands of the digsite, a new discovery awaits. Twenty-five mysterious Tomb Keys have begun to surface, waiting to be uncovered. These rare and ominous artifacts are essential to unlocking the secrets hidden deep within the newly unearthed Cursed Tomb. Keep your eyes peeled and your brush ready. Whenever a Tomb Key appears, team up with fellow explorers to extract it and uncover what lies beneath.

Cursed Tomb:
The Cursed Tomb is the crown jewel of the Digsite, and players will quickly see why. Not only is it home to several exclusive artifacts, but it also serves as the final resting place of an ancient pharaoh shrouded in mystery. Unlocking the secrets of the Cursed Tomb won’t be easy, players must scour the Digsite and uncover all 25 hidden Tomb Keys to gain access and unravel the ancient secrets buried within.


Cursed Mummy:
Once all 25 Tomb Keys have been recovered, the Cursed Mummy will awaken within his ancient resting place. This powerful boss must be defeated in an epic community battle, using your own gear to overcome the challenge. Upon victory, players will be rewarded with the Pharaoh’s Blessing, a powerful buff that lasts for 5 minutes. While this blessing is active, the Digsite yields highly valuable treasures in place of regular artifacts, offering a limited-time opportunity for incredible rewards.

Treasure Hunter:
The Treasure Hunter is a brand new NPC located just outside the entrance to the Cursed Tomb. This seasoned archaeologist has a keen eye and a strong appetite for the rare treasures uncovered during the Pharaoh’s Blessing buff. He’ll pay top dollar for your finds, but that’s not all. As you continue to sell him more treasure, you’ll also progress through a reward track, unlocking bonus rewards. This system ensures that treasure hunting remains valuable and rewarding well into the future.


Digsite Leaderboards:
It’s become tradition to include leaderboards with every major Cloud World feature, and the massive Archaeology update is no exception. You’ll now find dedicated leaderboards at the Digsite, showcasing two key stats: the most artifacts uncovered and the top earners in archaeology. Ready to dig your way to the top? Start brushing, collecting, and competing for your place among the best!

Egg Exchange:
Exchanging Sniffer Eggs for Sniffer Spawners has been a core part of Cloud World since the beginning. Starting next season, this exchange will no longer be handled through the Archaeologist GUI. Instead, a dedicated Sniffer NPC has been added to the Digsite world. Simply interact with the Sniffer and use the intuitive new GUI to trade your eggs for spawners with ease!


Upgradable Fishing Rod:
A brand new custom item is making its way to Cloud World this upcoming season — an all-new upgradable fishing rod! Much like our popular Harvest Hoes, this rod will automatically level up as you catch fish. As it levels, you'll earn upgrade points that can be invested into four unique abilities to enhance your fishing experience. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned angler, this powerful new rod offers a fresh way to fish. You can get your hands on one through both the Ancient and Mythical crates!

New Furniture:
Of course, with all these exciting updates comes a fresh batch of furniture for players to decorate their islands in style! Tied in with the massive Digsite overhaul, players can now bring the same ancient flair to their own space by collecting all 8 brand-new furniture pieces. From charming potted cacti to the majestic Anubis Statues, each item adds a touch of Egyptian wonder to your island's aesthetic.


Season 3 Cloud Pass:
With a new season comes a brand new set of shiny cosmetics in the Season 3 Cloud Pass! Alongside the Digsite revamp, players can now earn Cloud Pass experience by excavating artifacts, in addition to all the traditional methods. Don’t miss your chance to unlock this season’s exclusive rewards, including the Molten Magma Tools, Pixie Tools, and of course, the adorable Yoda emojis. Server Events:
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring a long-requested feature to Cloud World — official server events! Today, we’re excited to introduce the brand new Events World, accessible with /warp events. This dedicated world acts as the central hub for all upcoming events, where you can view the schedule and easily join in.

Players can enter events up to 30 minutes before they begin, making it simple to hop in and get ready. Whether you're diving into a game of Spleef, or just enjoying the excitement with others, the Events World is your go-to place for all the action. We’ll see you there!


Spleef Tournament:
Alongside the exciting launch of our brand new Server Events World, we're kicking things off with an epic Spleef Tournament! Colosseum Dungeon:
Cloud World's beloved Dungeons are about to receive their biggest update yet, introducing a brand-new dungeon that delivers a completely fresh gameplay experience. Battle through endless waves of mobs in an epic colosseum, where you can choose to push for the highest wave possible or race to exfiltrate the arena as fast as you can. No matter how you play, an unforgettable new boss battle awaits at the end of your journey!

A brand new chapter begins on Cloud World! We’re incredibly grateful and more motivated than ever to keep pushing the server forward, with a strong focus on delivering fresh, engaging content that meets modern standards. This season is packed with exciting updates and improvements, all designed to enhance your experience. The following patch notes will outline everything you can expect in the upcoming season, launching on Friday, 11th April at 10PM UTC.


Dungeon Rewards:
This upcoming season, dungeons are officially coming out of beta and will take on a proper role in the server’s economy, giving players a real reason to grind! Within the Dungeons Hub, you’ll now find the new Rewards Chest, which is where all of your dungeon loot will appear after a successful run. By completing dungeons, players can earn a variety of rewards, including exclusive island furniture and the highly valuable Dungeon Shards. Naturally, higher difficulty runs offer better drop rates, so be sure to bring your A-game and challenge yourself for the best possible rewards!

Dungeon Shards:
Dungeon Shards are a brand new currency earned exclusively by successfully completing dungeons. Designed to separate the heavy grind from Cloud Points, this new currency unlocks powerful island upgrades such as spawner discounts and bonus mob drops. These upgrades are crucial for maximizing your island’s efficiency and overall progression, making Dungeon Shards a valuable resource for any serious player.


Dungeon Master:
Of course, what are dungeons without a challenge for the pro players? The Dungeon Master, found in the Dungeons Hub, offers an extensive challenge for dedicated dungeon enthusiasts, rewarding those who complete it with a unique hunting trophy, an exclusive chat tag and of course a handful of valuable spawners! The challenge? Progress through all dungeon difficulties and unlock every piece of loadout gear.

Island Furniture:
As Cloud World has progressed, players have started to notice the beautiful models appearing around the server in community locations like the Fishing Pond and Dungeons Hub. Time and time again, we’ve been asked if these items could be obtained for personal use and now, we’re excited to make that happen. This upcoming season, we’re proud to introduce island furniture, which can be earned as a reward from dungeons!


Daily Quests:
This upcoming season, our much-loved Zeus, who greets players at spawn, will be receiving a huge upgrade with the addition of daily quests. These quests will rotate each day, giving players the opportunity to complete small objectives and earn quick and easy rewards. Be sure to check in daily when claiming your login rewards and see the latest quests on offer!

Coinflips:
Who doesn't love a bit of risk in their life? Coinflips offer players a thrilling opportunity to gamble against another player for the chance to double their money. You can host your own coinflip game or accept one that someone else has created. The rules are simple: choose how much money you want to bet and pick a side of the coin. The coinflip will then take place, with the winner taking home all of the money. Coinflips can be created using the command /cf <amount>.


Easter Keys:
Spring has sprung on Cloud World! To celebrate Easter, we’ve released a limited-edition Easter Key, bursting with festive cosmetics, including delightful skins and cheerful chat tags. This special key is only available until the end of April, so don’t miss your chance to hop into the holiday spirit!

Fishing Helmet:
This upcoming season, players will discover an exciting new item through our beloved Samantha, found at spawn. This fresh quest introduces a unique fishing helmet that grants players a boost within our custom fishing pond. The objectives of this quest will revolve around, of course, fishing and our newly added daily quests system!


Season 1 Trophies:
These unique, one-of-a-kind trophies are exclusive to the winners of Season 1 and can be claimed by running the command /trophy. With only one in the entire economy, these trophies are the ultimate flex of last season's achievements. Put them on full display front and center to remind everyone of the hard work and dedication you put into Cloud World last season. Congratulations and a huge thank you!

Dungeons Update:
Take on the challenge of the newly added dungeon difficulties and experience the all-new loadout system! After clearing a dungeon, you’ll earn a piece of powerful loadout gear, which can be equipped through the Loadout NPC in the Dungeons Hub. Battle your way through all 9 difficulties and collect all 192 pieces of gear to become unstoppable!

Impending Reset:
Can you believe it, Cloud World is already 5 months old! As standard with Minecraft servers, Cloud World will be undergoing its first reset next month at exactly Friday, 11th April, 10pm UTC. Rest assured! This is not as scary as it sounds. By doing so, we can ensure the server continues to evolve, stay fresh, and meet modern-day standards, offering an even better experience for both our existing players and all newcomers to this amazing community. When the reset happens, players can expect a boatload of new content and stability patches, all of which will be announced the week prior to the reset (and trust us, it’ll be worth the wait — we’ve got plenty of fresh additions lined up)!

Reset Information:
All ranks, chat tags, and skins will carry over into the new season! Skins can be redeemed using the /skins interface once the new season launches. To celebrate the success of Season 1, we’ll be awarding three exclusive trophies to the top 3 islands at the end of the season. These Prestigious Trophies can be claimed using /trophy once the new season begins! We are excited about what the future holds!
